Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP)

BaltimoreWe are located in downtown Baltimore, known locally as Charm City or Monument City.  Baltimore is in central Maryland, about 45 min north of Washington, DC, 2 hours southwest of Philadelphia, and 3.5 hours from New York City with easy access to major northeast train routes and three international airports. The city offers a wide range of activities including sports, culture, history, live entertainment, and an exciting food scene. We are home to the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens, whose stadiums are just a quick walk from campus.

Maryland is often referred to as "America in Miniature". In 5 hours you can drive from the beaches of Ocean City to the mountains in Deep Creek, where students can enjoy skiing, hiking, and rock climbing. In between, there are the multicultural city centers of Baltimore and Washington, DC and vast farmland that supplies daily farmers markets throughout downtown.
